Southwest UK Robotics Scrimmage

🤖🌟 FTC Southwest Scrimmage: A Celebration of STEM and Achievement 🌟🤖

We’re thrilled to share the fantastic success of the recent FIRST Tech Challenge UK (FTC) Southwest Scrimmage hosted at our school! 🎉

🚀 A Space-Themed Extravaganza: The event, themed around the wonders of space exploration, brought together 16 teams from across the region to showcase their innovative robots and STEM skills.

🌌 Astounding Talks: Astrophysicist Lili Alderson graced us with an engaging presentation on her groundbreaking work using space telescopes to study exoplanets. Her talk left us inspired and awestruck by the mysteries of the cosmos! 🌟✨

🏆 Drone Competition Winner: We’re incredibly proud of St Edward’s School in Poole for clinching victory in the thrilling Drone competition, showcasing their exceptional skills and teamwork.

👩‍🚀 Empowering Future Innovators: The event wasn’t just about robots; it was a celebration of collaboration, creativity, and learning. Our students engaged in activities fostering STEM awareness, teamwork, and problem-solving, contributing to their growth as future innovators.
