Mission aim

Move like a professional team.

For people new to FRC: a team does not just transport a robot. It transports a pit, tools, batteries, spare parts, signage, laptops, PPE, bumpers and student equipment. Good logistics protect the robot and reduce stress at events.

What this mission achieves

Project Cargo gives ReBourne a proper packing and transport system. It means equipment is protected, labelled, secure, easy to move and easy to check before and after every event.

Creates a safe transport system for the robot, pit kit, batteries, tools and displays.
Funds crates, trolleys, straps, locks, covers and protective packing materials.
Supports student logistics skills: inventory, loading plans, equipment checks and event readiness.
Reduces the chance of damaged, missing or disorganised equipment during competitions and outreach.

Lead Sponsor

Funds the full mission or the majority of it. Recognition can be attached to Project Cargo as the main logistics sponsor.

Co-Sponsor

Contributes towards the mission alongside other supporters. This route makes the project accessible to smaller local sponsors.

Student impact

Logistics is engineering too.

Project Cargo teaches students that professional teams plan how equipment moves, how risks are reduced and how systems stay reliable under pressure.

Planning

Students learn loading plans, inventory systems, transport checklists and event preparation routines.

Ownership

Students take responsibility for equipment, packing, checking and returning kit in a professional condition.

Reliability

A good logistics system means the right tools, batteries, signs and spares arrive when the team needs them.

Cargo pathway

From school base to competition pit.

The same system should work for school showcases, outreach events and full competition travel.

Map

Identify every item that needs to travel: robot, pit, batteries, tools, displays, PPE and student materials.

Pack

Create labelled boxes, protective packing, QR inventories and loading diagrams.

Move

Use trolleys, straps, covers and manual-handling routines to move kit safely.

Check

Use departure and return checklists so equipment is not lost, damaged or forgotten.
