ReBourne Robotics is the next step in BSG Robotics: a serious Sixth Form engineering programme built on a proven all-girl robotics pathway, university mentoring and regional outreach. Every sponsorship mission helps launch the team and power ReBourne Futures: our student-led outreach programme taking robotics, coding and engineering inspiration into schools across the region.
ReBourne will directly develop a focused Sixth Form team, but its impact reaches far beyond those students. It powers ReBourne Futures, strengthens the wider BSG Robotics pathway, and supports a growing South Coast network of schools engaging with robotics and STEM.
Business support for ReBourne does not only fund one robot. It launches the team that powers ReBourne Futures: advanced student leadership, free outreach for younger pupils, and a South Coast school network that BSG Robotics helps sustain.

ReBourne Futures is the student-led outreach and impact programme powered by ReBourne Robotics. Every sponsor who helps launch the team also helps create the role-model, school-impact and STEM pipeline work that follows.
Mission sponsorship gives ReBourne students the tools, kit, systems and competition experience they need to become confident engineering leaders. Those same students then lead free robotics, coding and engineering outreach for younger pupils through ReBourne Futures.
ReBourne Futures builds on outreach that has already reached more than 6,000 pupils. The next phase aims to reach 8,000 primary pupils over four years, while strengthening the wider all-girl BSG Robotics pathway and the South Coast school network.
ReBourne develops skills that link directly to engineering, computing, manufacturing, digital systems, operations, project management and communication. The robot is the challenge. The future skills are the outcome.

ReBourne is organised into three student subteams. This gives students a realistic team structure, clear areas of responsibility and experience of working across technical and non-technical roles.

The BUILD Lead, CONTROL Lead and IMPACT Lead form the ReBourne Team Captains: a leadership trio responsible for communication across subteams, team standards, competition readiness and whole-team success.
ReBourne has not launched yet, but it grows from a club where students already build confidence, ambition and technical curiosity. These sample student reflections show the kind of impact the wider robotics pathway is already creating.
Before robotics, I thought engineering was something other people did. Now I can build, test, explain ideas and help younger pupils understand how robots work.
