It’s the teams’ Rookie Year in the FIRST TECH CHALLENGE competition, and Team ULTRAVIOLET and Team ENJENIOUS headed to London to take part in the Regional Final for FTC UK.

In total, 24 regional teams battled it out in this year’s game – POWERPLAY. All other teams attending were more experienced than ours, but this did not stop Team ULTRAVIOLET coming 3rd out of 24 and winning the Regional CONNECT Award for their work in STEM Outreach.

Team ULTRAVIOLET – #22457 and Regional CONNECT Award Winners 2023

Coming in 3rd place meant that Team ULTRAVIOLET went straight through to the National Championship in June. Team ENJENIOUS also got through, meaning both our teams will battle it out on the robot game field at Cambridge University in the last half term.
We are now looking for sponsors including local businesses to support our participation to the National Championship in June as well as expanding our club next academic year! We’re proud of our students being #morethanrobots!
